Custom wooden crates
Built to the dimensions of the item, with internal bracing so nothing moves in transit.
Export-grade packing done before the cargo enters the freight network — because most damage claims begin with packaging, not handling.
Export cargo packing in the UAE covers palletising and shrink wrapping, custom wooden crates and boxes, machinery skidding and bracing, corrosion and moisture protection, and correct marking and labelling. Packing to export standard reduces damage claims, and on sea freight it usually reduces measured volume and therefore cost.

Cartons blocked, strapped and wrapped into stable, forkliftable units.
Heavy equipment bolted to skids or bases, with lifting and lashing points identified.
VCI film, desiccant and barrier bagging for humid ocean transit.
Double-wall boxing, foam and edge protection for glass, marble, art and electronics.
Shipping marks, handling symbols, weight and dimension stencilling and package numbering.
Good packing pays for itself twice. The obvious return is fewer damage claims. The less obvious one is volume: sea and air freight are measured to the outer bounding box of each piece, so a tight pallet with no overhang can be materially cheaper to ship than the same goods loosely stacked. On air freight, where the volumetric divisor is unforgiving, reducing box height is a direct rate reduction.
Humidity is the UAE-specific risk. Cargo packed in Gulf summer conditions and then sealed in a container for weeks will sweat. Bare steel, machined surfaces, electronics and anything with paper packaging need VCI film, desiccant or barrier bagging — not just a crate.
Timber rules apply at the destination. Many countries require solid wood packaging to be heat-treated or fumigated and stamped to ISPM 15. We build and mark to that standard for destinations that require it, which avoids the cargo being held, treated or destroyed on arrival.
Collection and delivery across every emirate — each location page covers the ports, airports and industrial areas that apply there.
For machinery, heavy items, anything with protruding parts, and high-value fragile goods on a long ocean transit — yes. For robust boxed goods, a well-built and wrapped pallet is usually enough and considerably cheaper.
It is the international standard requiring solid wood packaging to be heat-treated or fumigated and stamped. Many destinations enforce it strictly. If yours does, untreated timber can mean treatment, re-export or destruction at your cost.
Yes. For machinery and large items an on-site crew is usually the practical option, since the item may not be movable until it is packed.
Often, yes. Freight is measured to the outer dimensions of each package, so eliminating overhang and void space reduces the chargeable volume — most noticeably on air freight.
VCI film for metal surfaces, desiccant inside sealed barrier bags, and packaging chosen so condensation inside the container does not reach the goods.
Yes, including skidding, bolting to bases, lashing point identification and centre-of-gravity marking so the cargo can be lifted and secured safely.
